Dibba - Fujairah, UAE

Fujairah, also known as Dibba Al Fujairah,  is one of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, and the only one of the seven that has a coastline solely on the Gulf of Oman.

In 1902, Fujairah entered into treaty relations with Britain, becoming the last of the emirates to join the Trucial States. On 2 December 1971, Fujairah joined the United Arab Emirates.  That's the history, now here is our trip!

We're Here!

The Lobby!

Arrived and checking in!  Can't wait to RELAX!
A nice touch welcoming you to the resort!

      The room is gorgeous!!!

The pool is stunning, a work of art!
When they say dining by the pool....they mean it.
Can't get much closer unless you wanted to swim.
Our morning view of the beach!
Another view.  So peaceful!
The pool with the backdrop of the Hajaar Mountains.
Up early to grab the best lounge chairs!

The pool was incredible!

The kiddie pool....great area for families.
We were NOT here...but on the quiet side of the pool.
Before we hit the pool....time for breakfast!

The sandy beach - early morning with the Hajaar Mountains.

The villa's that look out to the Gulf of Oman.
Definitely cooler here....abundance of flowers!

Enchanting walkways!
Ready to explore!

Fujairah is also home to the oldest mosque in the United Arab Emirates which was built in 1446 of mud and bricks.  It is similar to other mosques found in Yemen, eastern Oman and Qatar.  Al Bidyah Mosque has four domes (unlike the other similar mosques which have between seven and twelve) and lacks a minaret.

The walk way from Lobby - to bar - to pools!
One of many bars....all so unique and beautiful!

The center fountain...one of many that are more art than fountain.

Another night of dining in style!
Cheers!
Cheers!
One last day for the beach!

Rested and Relaxed!
Three Words:  Wanna Go Back!
